Songs Against Bombs!
War is hell!
War doesn’t end when one side capitulates or when treaty comes in effect.
War continues in heads, hearts and souls of those affected by it.
Rape, pillage, death, torn limbs, the smell of decomposing bodies, screams of dying… Those who whitnessed the horrors of war carry these wounds for the rest of their lives, for them the war never ends. Anti PTSD drugs like Xanax and Prozac often can’t silence the screams, they can’t stop the pain, can’t bring the lost loved ones back.
Are some lives more important than others?
Is “democracy” a commodity earned only by blood?
“War does not determine who is right, only who is left.”
Will it ever end? One day it will.
Death is inevitable for everyone, and only the dead have seen the end of war.
The Statement of a Broken Mind is the first video from the trilogy „Songs Against Bombs“ which comes from the prospective of a war veteran, a man aware of the atrocities happening around the world. Aware of how reality gets distorted by the media and then gets served on tables to people, who devour it with belief.
Why „The Statement of a Broken Mind“?
Our system has the tendency to label „broken“ all those disappointed by society, neglecting the fact that the system and the society are what „broke“ them!
